Homestays for the Regular School Year:

Our Homestay Students:

Homestay students typically come at the end of August and leave at the end of June. Some students come in January and stay till June as well. The students attend the public schools here as international fee paying students.

On a typical day, the students will go to school at 8:20 and come home at about 2:30. At about 3:00 they have their afternoon snack and then either do some guided study or some afternoon activity such as Kids club. Between 5:00 and 6:30 is free time. 6:30 is dinner time. Then after dinner the kids write their journals and from 8:00 to 9:30 they have self-study and silent reading. From 7:00 to 8:00 in the morning is also free time when the kids can watch cartoons, provided they are ready for school. The cartoons serve as great listening practice and we control what they are allowed to watch (usually Little Bear, Dora, Magic School Bus and those kinds of cartoons).

Of course, we have many days that aren't typical. On these days, we do activities or the kids have birthday parties to go to or something else comes up.

On the weekends, we usually do soccer or go on trips somewhere.
